From Thursday 14 February I will be taking a run out with a view to training for Leeds half marathon in May. The training pace will be 10min miling but with a view to achieving 9 min miling and consequently a sub 2 hour time on the day. We will be starting at 7 miles on Thursday 14 February and gradually building up to 12 miles by week 12. Varied routes each week. :)

Don't forget - the above half marathon training starts this evening with a steady 7 miles. We will also stick with 7 next week for anyone that can't make tonight.

Tonights route will be a gentle lollop down Lowtown and a pootle down Pudsey Road to Wickes as a warm up. We will then trot along Tong Road to Whingate junction, whizz up Whingate and gallop down Green Hill Road to Greggs. This will be followed by a stumble along Stanningley ready to rocket up Richardshaw Lane to the leisure centre.

Happy running :)
