Not a reply on this topic, but is the fell training session suggested for 21 September (I think) still on? If so, can you confirm place and time as I'm diary juggling at the moment.

Update: bunkhouse accommodation booked in Lanberis for the Saturday night: www.hafodselfcatering.com/. Option to use an annex which will accommodate a further 5 if there are supporters who want to come along.
