Jennifer never did run the race, but she is still waiting for the route map to be posted!
Just one of the minor logistical hiccups, the major one being having us set up the registration in the Royal beer garden in the rain, while the pub was already booked up with a christening.
Generally though, the club members did an excellent job with marshalling, recording and delivery of results back to the pub, in difficult wet and windy conditions; no recording mistakes were made, which makes my job easier. Well done and thanks to those involved - good job Mark Pawson on your first organization - and well done to those who actually ran the race.
Apologies to anyone who witnessed me and one runner square up to each other as he was annoying me when doing the early results. I'm not usually like that. He did apologize later, so no harm done.
Excellent photos of the race have been posted by Holmfirth Harriers, see...
