For anyone who has read my Newsletter report (has anyone read it?) on the XC relays at Graves Park Sheffield, there is a good news sequel:
The Men's team and the Women's V45 team were awarded medals after the event (awarded yesterday at the Meltham Cop race). Well done Elaine Allan, Trish Pop, Loretta Robson, Neil BraveShorts Wallace, Steve Ellis and Andrew Byrom.
Not to be outdone, medals or trophies were won yesterday at the Meltham race which doubled as the Yorkshire Vets Fell Championship: Nigel Armitage 1st M40, actually 3rd overall, and Jim Wheldon 1st M60. Sharon Hague was 3rd F40 but I'm not sure an award was made due to numbers.
