By the way I'm new to the club. I'm good friends with Lisa Jamison. I've done one training session with you. I run a 45min 10k and a 1:45 half marathon to give you an idea of pace.

Serious doubt for the LCW Relay. My back/glutes have been hurting for 3 weeks and whilst have improved to a position where I can now walk without limping, no sign of let up as soon as I get into a canter. This is a serious one methinks - as does the physio (herniated disc). Going for an MRI scan asap...

Unless there's some kind of Lazarus like recovery, I can see me being out of action for weeks/months. Trying to take some positives - like the fact it might give my Achilles and groin time to recover properly.

No rowing/swimming/running - I'm left with the bike - my equivalent of the Top Gear Beetle...

I may end up having a spare number for the Great North on 7 Sept...

Hi all there are some significant doubts or definite no go's for the LCW particularly in the A team. I am currently working on a number of changes and expect this to impact on both the A and B teams. There will also be a change in the ladies team but I have already spoken to the replacement there and so not too much impact.

Vets team at the moment (fingers crossed) not impacted. Please be prepared for changes I will try to make it as minimal as I can but it might mean a change of which leg you do or moving from one team to another. reserves stand by you are definitely needed. Hope to publish revisions later today.

To James/ Gary commiserations and hope the injuries improve but probably best if I plan without you.
