Anyone doing this? Thinking of entering, the route looks challenging to say the least. Uphill for the first 5.5 miles.

Yes I have entered, fancied a change from Leeds.

Looks like a cracking route! The section before Knowles Ln will be the steepest, and once on the Hathersage Rd it really is downhill all the way: possible PBs for the hill climbers.

Entered this morning.

Turns out this is actually the Plusnet Yorkshire Half, I had no idea. Looking forward to this on Sunday, given the 6 mile uphill start I am hoping I will be forced into a sensible race plan of steady start up the hill then push on during the return back down t'hill. As ever, nothing ever goes to plan with my running, so we'll see.

... oh and I've even trimmed my beard in preparation.
