New YVAA Committee Member Urgently Required

Mark Pawson has unfortunately, due to pressure of work, decided that he no longer has the time to undertake his role as YVAA Committee Member (and co-ordinator of YVAA Road Relays). We therefore urgently need a replacement for Mark’s position. In the first place this would be a co-opted position until the AGM at the end of April when the person could be formally voted onto the Committee.
Being a Committee Member is not an onerous task, there are normally between 4 and 6 meetings per year and these are held on rotation at a venue decided by each of the Committee Members, so move around the county. The Committee is a very friendly group and would welcome another member from any affiliated club. An offer from someone from a club not already represented would be particularly welcome, but anyone from a club already represented is also welcome to join us.
Mark had been due to coordinate the organisation of the Road Relays this year and while taking on this role would not be essential anyone with the experience / enthusiasm to take this on (plenty of help offered) would be especially useful.
