Anyone know of any on-road biking groups. My daughters partner enjoys road biking but he's not too sure he's up to a "Club" organisation bike group just yet. Anyone know of anything less formal, if you do appreciate your replies.

Many thanks!

My husband rides for Alba Rosa cycling club - there are various groups for different speeds/experience.

I also ride with Alba Rosa, you will find that the C group is easy to keep with as they will always re-group at the top of hills or if they are getting strung out.

They also have a Saturday social to the Cavendish Pavilion Cafe at Bolton Abbey which is also a steady ride.

You can go on one of the rides before you join, so you can get a feel for the pace.
