OK Sally I should be there about 6:30 as I will be traveling straight from work.

Word of caution though, we need to be careful about "flashing" items of specialist clothing in moorland car parks

If any of you don't need to get off in too much of a rush after the relay you are welcome to ours for a tea (may even manage cake). We are just round the corner.

Note: if they do a kit check in advance of each leg saying your kit is on the hill won't wash. In some relays there are actual rules against passing on kit. This said, the Badgerstone is a pretty relaxed affair.

Looks like it could be a hot one tonight, I note on the website white wells will be open serving light refreshments and....

"•The famous White Wells plunge pool will be open for our use (bring a towel)."

Anyone up for a dip?

A very warm night with the midges out in mid summer force feasting on all runners. I dont need to worry about getting into the Tour De France spirit and what to dress in for the big day as I now have my own all over polka dot body look thanks to being well bitten.

Team results are out (individual leg results awaited) and we have

Mens Team 1 (aka 'Pudsey Pacers - Hill Haters') 1:02:19 22nd
Andrew Green
Mark Smith
Tony Mawson

Mens Team 2 (aka 'Fast Team') 55:53 11th
Darryl Stead
Anthony Riley
Luke McQuade

Ladies Team (aka 'Pudsey Pacers Ladies) 01:05:38 3rd Female Team
Suzy Beck
Caroline Clarke
Sally Corbin-Smith

A great little event although all will agree the first mile is pretty tough

Apologies to my team as I took the wrong path on the fast descent and ended up running further than the official course. Looks like a few others made the same mistake (even the P&B ladies) so I wasn’t the only numpty on the night!

Well done to the other Pacer teams, great effort all round.

Will be back next year
