?Pudsey Pacers Club Run – Thursday 14 December 2006

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the Sherry Stumble is so delightful!

That’s right boys and girls; Peter Knapp is coming to town with the Christmas Club Run. Prizes will be given for best fancy dress, so dig out that Santa hat and join in the fun! In true Pacer style there will be a sherry (or other alcoholic beverage) stop half way round the run at Michael Turner’s house. Please note, you must not wear your watch for this run. There will be a Christmas quiz by Peter Knapp in the bar afterwards, as well as a festive feast for all by Trish Cutts.
Hope to see you there – ho ho ho

West Yorkshire Winter League

The details for the next three races in this league are: -
7 Jan 07 - Dewsbury - (hopefully) Oakwell Hall, Birstall
28 Jan 07 - Baildon - Baildon
18 Feb 07 - St Bedes - Esholt
All races will start at 11am. However, Baildon share their venue with a rugby club, so the start time maybe 1pm for that race, again I will confirm this closer to the time.
The presentation night will be held on Friday 9 March and will be organised by Skipton. The venue hopefully will not be in Skipton but closer to Leeds. Again, I will confirm this closer to the time.
If you are a member of Pudsey Pacers entering the league is completely FREE, just turn up (in a club vest) and take part – it’s that easy! The league is for amateurs, for runners of all abilities. A convoy of cars will meet at Pudsey Leisure Centre for all 5 races, so please put these dates in your diary, this is a great little league, running with only 7 other clubs, it's just good friendly fun!
If you would like further details about the league, or have any comments, feedback, complaints, anything! Please contact Jo Knowles, not the league Secretary.

Pudsey Pacers Christmas Do

The Pudsey Pacers Christmas party will be held on Saturday 16 December at the Stroom Cellar Bar in Pudsey. We've got a disco, buffet and balloons planned and the price is only £17.50 each.
Over 70 members will be attending the Christmas Party this year, and of course there has to be a fancy dress theme, which is……. Strictly Ballroom.
So I look forward to seeing guys in tuxedos and girls in diamantes and sequins as far as the eye can see!!!!
For further information, please contact Clarissa Smith on clarissa.smith@inhealthgroup.com

London Marathon 22 April 2007

This year I am delighted to announce that the club has not 1, not 2, but 3 London Marathon numbers for 2007!!!!
Only members who entered the London Marathon during this summer can qualify for the club numbers. In December you will receive either a confirmation letter stating you have got a place in the marathon, or you will receive a rejection letter. If you receive a rejection letter you need to pass the letter to me as soon as possible. Your name will then be put into a draw and the 3 lucky members will have their name pulled out of a ‘hat’ at the clubs Christmas do on Saturday 16 December.

***Please pass your rejection letter to Jo Knowles before Saturday 16 December ***
